Biography - Léa Malas
I am an intuitive artist working through a naive and exploratory approach, engaging psychological themes of womanhood, the self, mental states, and identity. My work unfolds instinctively, translating inner experiences into abstract visual language.
Born in France, raised in Beirut, and now based in Norway, my path across cultures and disciplines shapes a sensitivity to contrast and transformation.
Inspired by Norwegian nature, I draw solitary animals as quiet symbols of survival and inner solitude—figures that echo the self.
My practice moves between observation and intuition, holding space for reflection rather than definition.
