I am captivated by the depth of the abstract concepts that shape us, challenge us, and sometimes teach us the hardest lessons.
Loss. The search for identity. Reconnection. Self-sabotage. Dreams and hopes. Altruism, etc...
These are some of the invisible threads that bind us to ourselves, to one another, and to the world around us. They are complex, contradictory, and deeply human.
Through my naïve art, I explore these inner landscapes, giving shape to thoughts, emotions, and experiences that can be difficult to put into words. Each artwork is an invitation to look a little closer, feel a little deeper, and perhaps recognise a part of yourself along the way. – Léa Malas
